What matters now

  • The model range is unusually wide (€26.26 to €105.04). The outcome hinges heavily on assumptions, so read the point estimate with caution.
  • Solid but not exceptional quality (47/100) and above fair value, neither a clear bargain nor a standout compounder.

Analysis

Syensqo (SYENS) currently trades at €81.35, while our model-based Fair Value estimate is €58.96, implying the stock looks roughly 38.0% overvalued today. The Quality Score stands at 47/100 (below-average quality), in the Basic Materials sector. Bull case: the Multiples group reads highest at a median of €40.31 per share, and 1 of the 14 models we run sit above the €81.35 price. Bear case: the Earnings-Based group reads lowest at €12.68, and 13 of the 14 models stay below the price. Evidence for this calculation is medium.

Over the trailing twelve months, Syensqo generated revenue of €5.9B at a net margin of 0.1%. Revenue declined 6.9% year over year. It earns a return on equity of −0.8%. Net debt stands at €2.1B. Fundamentals as of Aug 13, 2026

Our scenario range runs from €26.26 (bear case) to €105.04 (bull case); at €81.35, the current price sits within that range. Bear and bull are the same models run on conservative and optimistic assumptions (margins, growth, valuation multiples), so a plausible valuation range, not a price target. The share trades near its 52-week high and 100% above its 52-week low, currently above its 200-day average. For context, the median of 10 Basic Materials peers we cover trades at −48% fair-value upside, at −28%, SYENS screens cheaper than that median.

Fair Value models

Each model estimates fair value its own way; the Fair Value above is the evidence-weighted, family-balanced blend. Evidence (0–100) measures how completely this model’s inputs are available: well-fed models carry more weight in the blend. The spread across models is intentional, each one stresses a different value driver; dividend models, for instance, come out structurally low when payout is small. Every input is real reported data, nothing guessed.

Model Bear Bear = the cautious scenario: the same model computed with conservative anchors (lower growth, margins and valuation multiples). Together with Bull it frames a plausible valuation range, not a price target.BaseBull Bull = the optimistic scenario: the same model computed with favourable anchors (higher growth, margins and valuation multiples). Together with Bear it frames a plausible valuation range, not a price target. Evidence

All values are scores from 0 to 100 (100 = best against fixed, research-based bands), not percentages. The three market factors (momentum, 52-week proximity, low volatility) are displayed but carry zero weight in the headline number: market sentiment is not a business property.
