What matters now

  • Solid quality (58/100) at a price below fair value, the discount is the argument here, not the business quality.
  • A fairly wide model range (49.67 MXN to 90.27 MXN) leaves room in how you read the outcome.

Analysis

Megacable Holdings S. A. B. de C. V (MEGACPO) currently trades at 51.52 MXN, while our model-based Fair Value estimate is 72.22 MXN, implying the stock looks roughly 28.7% undervalued today. The Quality Score stands at 58/100 (solid quality), in the Consumer Cyclical sector. Bull case: the DCF Models group reads highest at a median of 104.99 MXN per share, and 20 of the 26 models we run sit above the 51.52 MXN price. Bear case: the Asset-Based group reads lowest at 27.23 MXN, and 6 of the 26 models stay below the price. Evidence for this calculation is high.

Over the trailing twelve months, Megacable Holdings S. A. B. de C. V generated revenue of 27.7B MXN at a net margin of 11.5%. Revenue grew 9.0% year over year. It earns a return on equity of 9.2%. Net debt stands at 20.7B MXN. Fundamentals as of Aug 13, 2026

Our scenario range runs from 49.67 MXN (bear case) to 90.27 MXN (bull case); at 51.52 MXN, the current price sits within that range. Bear and bull are the same models run on conservative and optimistic assumptions (margins, growth, valuation multiples), so a plausible valuation range, not a price target. The last reported earnings sit well below what analysts expect (earnings in transition, for example after write-downs or an earnings dip); whether the stock is cheap or expensive hinges on the expected recovery actually arriving. Read the fair value with that caveat. The share trades about 21% below its 52-week high and 10% above its 52-week low, currently below its 200-day average. For context, the median of 10 Consumer Cyclical peers we cover trades at 26% fair-value upside, at 40%, MEGACPO screens cheaper than that median.

Fair Value models

This estimate rests on fiscal year 2025 figures, and about 8 months have passed since. In that time the company retained roughly 1.31 MXN per share, which is 1.8 % of the fair value. The fair value deliberately does not add this in: the models value reported figures, not a projection.

Each model estimates fair value its own way; the Fair Value above is the evidence-weighted, family-balanced blend. Evidence (0–100) measures how completely this model’s inputs are available: well-fed models carry more weight in the blend. The spread across models is intentional, each one stresses a different value driver; dividend models, for instance, come out structurally low when payout is small. Every input is real reported data, nothing guessed.

Model Bear Bear = the cautious scenario: the same model computed with conservative anchors (lower growth, margins and valuation multiples). Together with Bull it frames a plausible valuation range, not a price target.BaseBull Bull = the optimistic scenario: the same model computed with favourable anchors (higher growth, margins and valuation multiples). Together with Bear it frames a plausible valuation range, not a price target. Evidence

All values are scores from 0 to 100 (100 = best against fixed, research-based bands), not percentages. The three market factors (momentum, 52-week proximity, low volatility) are displayed but carry zero weight in the headline number: market sentiment is not a business property.
