What matters now
- The model range is unusually wide ($9.83 to $29.30). The outcome hinges heavily on assumptions, so read the point estimate with caution.
- Solid but not exceptional quality (68/100) and above fair value, neither a clear bargain nor a standout compounder.
Price vs Fair Value (5 years)
White line = price, green steps = our fair value per fiscal year, dashed = 300-day average. As of Aug 29, 2026.
How to read this chart
60‑month range $11.86 – $26.21 · fair‑value band $9.83 – $29.30 · the $20.70 price screens above the $15.20 fair value. Green steps = our fair value per fiscal year (point-in-time, no hindsight). 1 fiscal year is left out: there the valuation rested on only a fraction of the usual models. Dashed = 300-day average. As of Aug 29, 2026.
Analysis
Levi Strauss & Co Class A (LEVI) currently trades at $20.70, while our model-based Fair Value estimate is $15.20, implying the stock looks roughly 36.2% overvalued today. The Quality Score stands at 68/100 (solid quality), in the Consumer Cyclical sector. Bull case: the Growth Earnings group reads highest at a median of $24.16 per share, and 7 of the 24 models we run sit above the $20.70 price. Bear case: the Asset-Based group reads lowest at $3.82, and 17 of the 24 models stay below the price. Evidence for this calculation is high.
Over the trailing twelve months, Levi Strauss & Co Class A generated revenue of $6.5B at a net margin of 9.5%. Revenue grew 14.1% year over year. It earns a return on equity of 25.4%. Net debt stands at $1.5B. Fundamentals as of Aug 29, 2026
Our scenario range runs from $9.83 (bear case) to $29.30 (bull case); at $20.70, the current price sits within that range. Bear and bull are the same models run on conservative and optimistic assumptions (margins, growth, valuation multiples), so a plausible valuation range, not a price target. The share trades about 15% below its 52-week high and 29% above its 52-week low, currently below its 200-day average. For context, the median of 10 Consumer Cyclical peers we cover trades at −17% fair-value upside, at −27%, LEVI screens richer than that median.
Fair Value models
This estimate rests on fiscal year 2025 figures, and about 9 months have passed since. In that time the company retained roughly $0.6421 per share, which is 4.2 % of the fair value. The fair value deliberately does not add this in: the models value reported figures, not a projection.
Each model estimates fair value its own way; the Fair Value above is the evidence-weighted, family-balanced blend. Evidence (0–100) measures how completely this model’s inputs are available: well-fed models carry more weight in the blend. The spread across models is intentional, each one stresses a different value driver; dividend models, for instance, come out structurally low when payout is small. Every input is real reported data, nothing guessed.
All 24 models by family
Widest divergence: Growth Earnings ($24.16) versus Asset-Based ($3.82). Highest evidence: FCF DCF (80).

Quality Score breakdown
Of which business quality 65 · Market factors (momentum, volatility) 41
Non-valuation factor families (profitability, growth, cashflow, financial strength, momentum …), each academically grounded. Valuation itself sits in the Fair Value and is deliberately excluded here to avoid double-counting.
All values are scores from 0 to 100 (100 = best against fixed, research-based bands), not percentages. The three market factors (momentum, 52-week proximity, low volatility) are displayed but carry zero weight in the headline number: market sentiment is not a business property.
